About the Role
Along with the CEO, you will help build relationships with end users in the form of product testing, as well as making sure we are on track with software development. Our main milestone that the team is working towards is Pilot App Launch, join us in organizing and directing this unique experience. We are a very early stage startup on our way to bringing on our first investors. In this role, your contributions and performance can result in an offer to join the executive team as well earning company shares as a form of compensation. We work virtually and in-person in San Luis Obispo; THIS ROLE CAN BE 100% REMOTE.

Current Product: Native App Development (Java, JS, Kotlin, Python)

Responsibilities
Provide feedback to company leadership on software related topics
Plan and coordinate the timeline and milestones for technical development, pilot launch & beta launch
Design and develop an official study plan as we conduct the alpha tests with our first product
Be able to lead and work with a team of software engineers of different skills sets and efficiently planning tasks leveraging skills. When we don't have a certain skill- we try to find a subject matter expert or hire a team member to fill the need - be willing to ask for help when needed.
Finding clarity in chaos!: Keep us grounded in order to balance out the chaos created around the product so that we are able to deliver the clear vision/idea
Finding the right people & processes to optimize our technical solution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred
Have a strong engineering network with experience in cloud and edge computing/processing, iOS Development, Android Development, Web Programming, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), API, AWS (LAMBDA, S3, etc)
Demonstrated track record of software project management with skills in AI, Machine Learning, Native App Development, Agile Processes, JIRA & GitHub software management
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Be able to work directly with the CEO to execute the official company vision: "Using technology to improve human life."

Qualifications:
Background in Computer Science/Software Engineering or Business Information Systems/Technology with experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Prior demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship
Team-building; willing to learn something new and willing to work with others at any skill level
Prior work experience in project management, technical management, and/or software development
Ability to contribute 15-20 hours a week at minimum
Preferred Skills:
Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Business; MBA preferred
Prior startup co-founder experience (knowledge of exits/sales is a plus!)
Strong passion for joining our team-styled family in the rigorous and unpredictable entrepreneurship journey
Knowledgeable in one or more: Distributed Programming, UI/UX, NoSQL databases, Amazon Web Services, Python, Django, Kotlin, Java, C++, Swift
